People. Process. Tools. Empowerment.
Operations is where human-centered design and service belong: doing the right things at the right time is decided by, with and for the people who shoulder the work that drives the org’s purpose forward. It’s where an org shows how its people are valued, developed, and reinvested in, which makes it the most important place to design the future of work.
I moved into operations officially after seeing gaps and inconsistencies in leadership and management at scale. I'd been pitching and implementing ways to make success more equitable across our growing agency, sharing professional development tools I'd already built outside of work, and creating new ones to serve our team globally. The head of design saw the work I was already doing and asked me to do it with the title to match.
It's an evolution of my craft, and it's also the root of how I want to serve the people I work with, in business and in community: empowering them with the tools, resources, and confidence to do their most fulfilling and purposeful work.
Everything below is that philosophy made concrete. Not all internal ops work is shareable, so these are versions I've scrubbed and made open source — alongside toolkits and frameworks I've built from scratch for communities I've volunteered to lead, and some projects I made because I really just enjoy doing work that might make someone else's experience better.
